For Happy *belated* birthday! I'm sorry I didn't get anything done before now... It's not quite as much as I wanted to do for you, but I don't think I've ever enjoyed doing artwork as much as I've enjoyed doing this, and I hope you enjoy it as much!
I used to draw horses all the time and there were plenty who loved my work, but then there were a couple that would tease me for it "oh you're drawing PONIES! haha", and eventually I stopped doing them just because of what a couple people would say. And after a while, I didn't draw around them at all or let them see my work. Don't ever give in to this, anyone! I can't tell you how wonderful it is to draw them again.
This turned out so gorgeously Kelsa! I love horses, and as you know they crop up quite frequently in my artwork! I love that you added that kitty in there too! It all just turned out so lovely, and you are very good at horse anatomy too, especially since you have just gone back to drawing them!
And what's wrong with drawing ponies or horses? Some of my favorite artwork is of equines, they are certainly lovely creatures! I look forward to seeing more of them coming from you, and any artowork for that matter! It felt really good to see some artwork from you in my inbox!

I would appreciate any pointers you can give me on my art and photography!
It really is awful how others can sometimes completely tie us up and disable us from being the creative people we really are.. As you say, don't let them!!!! This is lovely!
Thank you so much! Hehe, I had to sneak in the kitty. Couldn't resist.
For me understanding the anatomy of a particular creature is like memorizing a line or a song, actually, and I'd been drawing horses since I was seven years old--it's practically engraved in my mind.
I've never thought there was anything wrong with drawing horses, but they did for some strange, demented reason. They are indeed lovely creatures.
This is gorgeous Kelsa, thank you so much my darling I've been away for a few days and am slowly working my way through the back log in here. I love this, and I will add it to my journal soon! Thank you

How beautiful!!! I know you had mentioned you'd done something but I forgot to look. I'm so GLAD to see you posting deviations again! And doing so well with your art! I know Pam was thrilled to see it too.

very beautiful. your art is amazing, I always look forward to see what you will post next.
I found what you said about drawing ponies interesting. funny how something that at one age seems silly and childish can become deeply meaning ful in a mature way later on. everything has differant levels of meaning. I notice that alot with church songs,....some seem silly on the surface, but if you listen with the spirit are ..wow...beyond words.

When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
